ICD key?
Hello,
I just went to a new doctor because I've been hearing less in my left ear for the last two days, as if I had headphones in. The pain started last night and I suspect a middle ear infection. I took an ibuprofen last night and put a hot water bottle over my ear, which of course made the pain go away. I just went into the practice and the receptionist yelled at me that I shouldn't keep changing doctors, that it's not allowed. And when the doctor examined my ear, all he asked me was if I had a cold. Didn't he give me a diagnosis? And all he gave me was a sick note with an ICD code on it. Don't you have to get one without one too, for data protection reasons?
I am confused
The ICD key is the diagnosis, and also serves the data protection because you cannot read it directly.
The ICD key is your diagnosis. The AU without ICD key is no longer available because the health insurance now gets everything digitally from the doctor and the employer has to ask for the health insurance
you don’t get AUs anymore.
that’s all digital.
and the ICD code is the diagnosis (including the code googlen)
