I want to learn to sing?

Hello,

So, I'd really like to learn to sing. I've been interested in it for years, but I really can't sing. However, I don't want my family to find out. It's just not really cool for us. Or my siblings think it's funny until I can sing. That's why I'd like to learn in secret. It's difficult because I need money to take lessons. What should I do?

All alone, you can’t learn to sing, you always need someone who can judge your singing objectively.

A club is the right thing to learn singing, best a choir.

Look at the church parishes in your surroundings, there is usually a choir where you can also get free lessons. Gospelchoirs are also often available.

If you can use the basics, you can also apply them to other music.

When it comes to seeking singing as a job, a coach would be necessary.

Just sing as much as you can when you’re home alone or in the forest. Karaoke after that, listen to the one shot of you and watch yourself what you can improve. There are also free apps or Versions of apps where you can train singing.

Whether in the choir or with other support: without practicing you will not be able to learn. That is, even if you would take hours, you would have to practice regularly somewhere. Where do you want to do that if you’re uncomfortable at home?

You will have to answer this question first before you start. And if, then with support.

Ask your music teacher at school.

You should make sounds. You need to hear what sounds right and what’s wrong.
