I cycle but it gives me pain in my crotch. What can I do about it?

I live in a rural area, and I'm supposed to get some exercise. But after two broken tailbones and excruciating pain in my crotch while cycling, I'm losing interest in even thinking about it. Are there any tips on how I can keep the pain to a minimum?

A better saddle, or more suitable for you, because there is a lot of savings, especially for discounters.

A good and individually adapted saddle to multi-wheelers can go clearly to the three-digit range for "special products".

And also never squat too deeply on the donkey if it is not absolutely necessary. Since a higher guide frame with higher handles can be further extended to the body, so that the most important bearing force on the saddle can be distributed over the rear jaws to the largest possible saddle cushion.

For example, the leather saddles of Leppa (Primus) are quite comfortable for very relaxed F wheels. But they need constant care and weather protection.

In addition, in the case of each saddle seated personally also with a handle on the handlebar, always optimally adapt its inclination over the crown discs themselves, so that its front beak does not press too much on body parts between the legs instead of on the rear jaws during the ride.

A bike short with thick gel insert to drown under a more normal pants if you otherwise look too funny on the village. Also there are mountain bike shorts where there is something.

A thick soft saddle. With deepening.

The most important thing is always a good saddle! In a specialist store, your bone distance can be measured and a suitable saddle can be recommended.

However, two fractures are anything but normal. Maybe you should talk to your doctor or orthopedic about it. In the worst case, a normal bicycle saddle is not suitable for you and you need to look for alternatives, for example the already mentioned recumbent wheel.
