I'm too thin, how can I change it?
Hi, I have a problem. I can only eat small portions, and even when I manage to eat more, I don't gain weight. I'm often told that I should eat more, that it's not healthy to be so thin, and that I'm meretricious. I suffer quite a bit from it and secretly eat sweets at night to somehow gain weight. (I'm 12 years old, female, 1.50cm tall, and weigh 32-33kg) I wanted to start weight training, but I'm constantly told it's not good for me and that I'll lose even more weight. Does anyone know anything about this and can help me (I want to gain weight and build muscle)
Hey, Svea! I don’t think you have an eating disorder. You must be a young woman at the beginning of your physical development. There will be a lot of things going on in the next few years, and you will be continuously bigger and heavier. Just keep eating so much and what you like, motor sports makes sense when you have increased something. Just give you some time, you will soon have a beautiful figure😇
Good luck!
You are not big and young
in age and in size, this is probably quite normal
Find out about your pediatrician. He should tell you if you are too thin/light or green. He can also tell you how to increase, you should have to. And if he doesn’t know, he can transfer you to a specialist.
Not every teenager who is thin / slim is also magical. As long as you don’t try to weigh less, you could be healthy. I have no idea how much you should weigh – I’m not a doctor.
