Hypothyroidism questions medication?
I have a question: can you get nodules if you have an underactive thyroid? I take tablets and have a blood test and an ultrasound. Why are both being done?

Good evening dear ones, I'm currently 9 weeks pregnant with my little girl. When I found out, I was in the hospital, and it was an "incidental finding." I was originally there because of heavy bleeding and pain. There, I was told to stay in bed and urgently need to see a gynecologist. I went…
About two months ago, I felt a lymph node under my armpit. It's about 1cm in size, quite mobile (it can be moved about 1 or 2cm in any direction), and about as hard as a pencil eraser. I felt it because I'm relatively thin. After two months, I can still feel it, and now…
I have had relatively yellow, soft stools for about a week. Could it be something to do with the food? I ate homemade cookies almost every day, like vanilla croissants (all of them) have that yellow vanilla color. Or could it be an illness?
I'm not feeling well at all. My nose is blocked all the time and only clears for a short time. My mouth keeps getting dry and I feel very weak and I get headaches quickly. What should I do about it?
My head is pounding, I'm sweating, and I just want to sleep, but I just can't right now. I still have to do my physics homework and study. I can barely keep my eyes open. But I can't sleep right now; I have to study. My parents said I can't take another pill now (I…
Hello, I (13 years old) thought my period was over, but it isn't… And now I have blood in my underwear, but I can't wash it out or throw it in the laundry. The reason for this is: We are currently in Spain and this evening we are flying to Slovakia (we arrive around 12:30…
Calcium deposits in the thyroid, also known as autonomous adenomas, are a common symptom of thyroid disease. A complete examination is required to determine whether it is a harmless "cold" lump or something cancerous.
I was diagnosed with such an adenoma as a young adult. Because it essentially "grew" inward and began to press on my trachea, my thyroid was removed. During surgery, small and tiny adenomas were found throughout my thyroid…that would have caused long-term problems. Nobody needs an "internal" goiter that impedes airflow.
I only know one doctor who is knowledgeable about thyroids, and that is Dr. Rieger.
