Why is that green?

Otherwise, the hoof would need a reasonable treatment. This thing’s growing out. If the horse is still sensitive on the sole, it can run with shoe.

I almost thought. It is very often taken to Rivanol, which does not bring more than water, because simply at the place unnecessary. You soften what goes best with water because the hoof has to be damp. At the moment it goes on, the horse must go as much as possible on solid soils. It’s pumping out with every step. Ready.

But then why is the sole not properly worked? Bzw the whole hoof has a processing status that leaves much to be desired? What is the argument of the hoof-worker not to do so long? Disease? I’d also be interested in how he works. On the photo it looks as if the wall had been thinned out exactly where it levers. But you can really judge that only after processing. Here comes to an already insole material – a clear sign that the interval is too long.

The photo is not suitable for an assessment, you want to make an assessment of the hoove neat pictures.

  1. Describe which hoof is photographed (order of hoof)
  2. Hufe thoroughly wash and dry with a brush
  3. Put horse on a flat, smooth and as clean as possible ground (asphalt, concrete)
  4. When photographing, keep the camera at the height of the hoof, whichLens must be parallel to the hoof wallwho is just being photographed

Possibly photograph without flash, daylight is better!

The following images of the hoof are necessary:

  1. frontal reception of the hoof;
  2. lateral reception of the hoove;
  3. sole view of the hoove, i.e. at the lifted hoof (preferably let someone stop); the entire sole must be visible
  4. complete horse
  5. keeping the corresponding leg pairs side by side, even here camera on hoof height

You can only judge this on the basis of reasonable photos.

The hat requires correct and timely processing. The interval is not selected correctly.

The ulcer must grow out that takes its time. Keeping clean and maintaining it just grows out.

The processing interval. Distance from hoof processing to hoof processing. Date with your Hufpfleger/Hufschmied
