Write HTML and then apply CSS

That’s how it works. First the semantics is displayed (with HTML) then the appearance with CSS is determined.

It’s a bit like home building. First you build the foundation, then the walls and then the roof. When the house stands, the appearance follows: plaster, color, wallpaper, epppiche, pictures etc.

Tip at the edge: Use frameworks like Bootstrap in the early days. In the early days, if you understood the logic of selectors and nest the basic CSS methods.

With advanced know-how, significantly more is set on frameworks and CMS systems that allow you to raise the theme of design to another level.
