HP laptop screen flickers and pixelates?

Hello! I bought this HP laptop about a month ago and have been having occasional problems with the screen flickering when I have too many apps open. Yesterday I was playing a game and it suddenly froze. I pressed the X, and then the screen started flickering like crazy.
