HP-Docking Station – keine Verbindung zu Bildschirm?

Hello liebe Leute,

eine dringende Frage.

Folgendes Problem: ich habe ebenfalls einen Bildschirm erhalten, auf dem ich gerne meine Laptopinhalte via Docking Station übertragen wollte. Mein Laptop hat einen geforderten USB-C Anschluss, jedoch funktioniert die Übertragung einfach nicht. Mein Laptop ist ein HP-Laptop, der Bildschirm ist von ASUS.

Den Bildschirm hatte ich mit der Docking-Station per HDMI-Kabel verbunden, das hat nicht funktioniert. Dann habe ich mir extra ein DisplayPort Kabel gekauft, es so verbunden und es klappt trotzdem nicht.

Ich hatte dann vermutet, dass der USB-C Anschluss an meinem Laptop einfach kaputt ist, aber ich habe dann Testweise statt dem Laptop mein Tablet an die Docking-Station angeschlossen und das ging auch nicht.

Die simple Verbindung von Bildschirm zum Laptop direkt via HDMI Kabel klappt problemlos, ich finde es nur schade um die Docking-Station.

Mache ich etwas falsch? Was könnten weitere Fehlerquellen sein?

Also ich bin mir nicht sicher ob ich meinen PC in die Steckerleiste machen soll oder in eine eigene Steckdose. Mein PC braucht 750 Watt und in der Steckerleiste ist noch mein Bildschirm, Lampe und TV Gerät. Die Steckerleiste lässt sich mit einem Knopf ausschalten und ich vermute ein PC braucht ziemlich lange zum herunterfahren…

The USB port may not transmit graphic information, as it does not work with mobile or tablet. Either you’re looking on the net what the symbols are on the USB-C port of your laptop, or you’re writing the exact type of your laptop in here, so we can then check and tell you if your laptop is for USB image transfer. However, I have no great hope in HP consumer devices.

This also explains, here quote from the HP support page: “1 USB 3.1 Type-CTM (only data transmission).

Therefore, the image transfer via USB-C to the docking station cannot work because it is simply not provided on this laptop.
