How to remove black glue?
I put new license plates on. The dealer must have applied some kind of black glue. It's very sticky. How can I remove it? Any tools? I've already managed to scrape some off.

Hello. I want to buy a new car, but I'm having trouble buying an automatic, and no dealer has this car in automatic transmission. Should I just leave it alone?
Try WD40.
If I see it correctly, your paint has suffered under it
is dirt. Could already clean it at another place.
Teerflecken I got away with WD40. Must go with the stuff on your paint too
I think it’ll be butyl sealant. Try best with brake cleaner, WD-40 or lighter petrol.

Better not with the screwdriver if, then with a plastic spatula or the fingernail.
you have not done so
Try it with universal dilution or with acetone. Acetone is also contained in nail varnish remover.
Acetone has lost nothing on autoresist.
Should not damage the autoresist when used carefully. It was an explicit recommendation of a good old painter for degreasing before applying a decorative adhesive.
