Hey people,
I covered a few spots on my bike with spray film, and after removing the masking tape, there are now adhesive residues on the edges of the film. How do I remove them? I think brake cleaner will remove the entire film, right?

A cleaning company had to remove the diesel from the street. Only a hose in the hood was broken. This caused the diesel filter to leak. Not much diesel was lost. How much should I expect to pay? Has anyone had any experience with this?
The masking tape wasn't a good idea.
Try using white spirit carefully.
If that doesn't work, you can spray a new edge with masking tape.
WD40 quickly removes almost all adhesive residue. I don't know what that will do to your foil, though.
Very carefully, polish it off with a Q-tip and cleaning fluid or lighter fluid. If necessary, you can stick something over the film to prevent it from getting damaged. There's special masking tape available that will prevent this problem.

mal mit Butter o.ä. bestreichen. das Fett löst den Kleber. nach einiger Zeit (30-45 min.) mit Küchenkrepp abreiben. dann nochmal mit spüliwasser nachreinigen.
