Hello everyone,
A few months ago I got insoles from my orthopedist and since it's getting warmer my feet get sweaty very quickly and now the insoles smell a bit unpleasant and I have no idea how to get rid of the smell.
They're not allowed in the washing machine, which is totally understandable, and I've already tried cleaning them with a wet cloth or some disinfectant, but nothing seems to work.
Any tips?

I found that the rinse program takes 19 minutes. At what temperature does the program wash and is it sufficient to freshen up…
Does it matter if you turn clothes inside out when washing them? Or should you always wash them inside out?

It's recommended not to use fabric softener when washing clothes. So why can't you deselect the "fabric softener" program on your washing machine? Leaving out the fabric softener would just waste water unnecessarily.
My mother put my velvet shoes in the washing machine, unaware of the consequences. Among other side effects of torn pieces, they are now "hard," no longer velvety but smooth, appear discolored, and bulge in some places. Does anyone know how to get that typical, beautiful velvet look back?
