How to connect a telephone to a fiber optic router?
I recently got fiber optic. The problem is that the router is on the second floor, and the phone jacks are on the ground floor. I know from DSL that the router was directly connected to the phone jack. Now that doesn't work anymore. So, I currently have internet, but no phone.
How can I solve the problem without having to run the entire LAN cable all the way to the telephone jack?
Thanks for your help.
Can the one or if you still have one (as it is sometimes necessary because glass fiber routers do not have a Wlan) DECT that would use a phone radio link to the routers with telephone handsets just like the phones with their handsets use.
Could I connect the phone directly to the phone socket, or must it be DECT?
This is not double
Even with switched DSL, no telephone/signal can be “understand” on the can, so they must be connected to the router that hangs on the TAE. So first time no
Now you have no signal on the TAE. So the second time no.
If the router does not have a phone jack, you must connect the phone sn to the original jack
