How to change nickname on Gmail?

Good day,

I have the following problem:

When I send an email on my PC via my Gmail account, I use the nickname "SHOSHKINGER" (see image).

This only happens when sending from the PC, but I haven't found a setting yet, either in Gmail or in the general settings, where I can change or turn off this name.

Can any of you help me?

thanks in advance

Which account of which provider this is not so important. Which email program do you use? For Thunderbird eg I have the answer:

How can I change my display name in Mozilla Thunderbird when sending emails?

Please choose below Extras -> Account settings… your mail account.

Under Standard identity the Your name the value "popxxxxxxxxxxxxx" stands.

This is the name that the recipients of your emails see. You can change this value accordingly.

When you start Mail app, you will find a tomb below in the left column. When you click on it, the column opens where top accounts are managed. When you open the affected account – go to sync settings and change the name in the field Send your messages under this name .

Don't understand your question. I used my Gmail address but not a Gmail program or app.

My instruction is a copy and I tried it out, created an account and changed. I did it under W10.
