I have a Nike Airmax backpack made of polyester. I'd like to wash it in the washing machine, but I'm not sure about the metal zipper. It shouldn't be a problem without a spin cycle, though.

I’d better wash it by hand, best in the bathtub. First wet and scrub with soap and brush. Then water with neatly washed powder to the tub and pour barefoot on it, which is not so tight. Then the same a few times with clear water.
