How quickly is a night guard needed?

Hi,

I recently had my dentist make me a night guard, but I haven't picked it up or paid for it yet.

Recently I had so many unexpected high expenses that I ran out of money.

I could just about afford the brace, but I'd prefer to cancel the appointment and wait a few months to buy the thing when my bank balance is a bit better.

The downside: I just had an implant put in. The doctor said it could become loose from grinding my teeth (I also don't like the idea of the metal screw of the implant putting pressure on my lower jaw when I grind my teeth).

In addition, another dentist once told me that I had a very strong jaw.

I'm now wondering how much damage I'm doing to my teeth, especially the implant, if I buy the splint in, say, three months instead of immediately?

LG Chris

You have already made the rail, then you also have to pay it, whether you get it or not, even it will not be better if it is in practice. The longer you wait, the greater the risk that it is moving or. Your teeth have their own mobility, they are moving.

Also the statement with the implant is correct, does not save in the wrong place

I didn’t say that you said it was financially difficult, so from my side it was an edge note and no submission.

As if you had to pay it, even private health insurance companies pay that and the legal anyway. If you live in Germany get you a lawyer, someone pulled you hard over the table
