I've seen it before but I just started again and am right in the middle of it.
I recently tested this: It was a film with a runtime of 100 minutes. The first advertising block came after an hour – it ran a total of about 30 seconds and consisted of a 20 and a 10-second advertising. Then the film continued for about ten minutes and then another advertisement of about 20 seconds came.
At Netflix subscription for 5 Euros per month, i.e. the basic subscription with advertising, you can use approximately four to five minutes of advertising per hour ! These commercials are usually 15 to 30 seconds long and are shown both before and during the films and series. To avoid advertising, you can consider choosing a higher price Netflix subscription without advertising or download the videos from Netflix.
Netflix displays an average of 4 minutes of advertising per hour. The advertising consists of 15- to 30-second clips that run before and during series and films. “A limited number” of content is not available in the standard subscription with advertising for license reasons.
Personally, the advertising would not be so extreme, but unfortunately many content in the advertising model, so it is also much cheaper than the standard subscription.
