Hello. I recently asked if it was possible to connect an external 2.5" 4TB HDD to a USB 2.0 port. Someone in a hardware forum successfully tested this for me on the same 10-year-old Technisat Technicorder ISIO STC receiver. I took the warning here seriously that damage to the HDD or the receiver itself could…

Skyrim DLCs available on Steam?
On Steam, the original version of TES V Skyrim has been replaced by the remastered version, and the DLCs are no longer available in the shop. Can I still purchase them from third-party retailers and redeem the codes on Steam? Otherwise, do I have to buy the remastered version?

Does anyone know how to do this on Windows?
Hello,
if this hard drive is no longer booted in the system, then 2-3 complete runs should usually be sufficient for data destruction.
How many times do I have to run my SSD with the program?
I boot with the SSD:)
I have already answered this question. 2 – 3 times.
Most data destruction tools are already relatively safe in their efficiency during the first complete run. With multiple runs, you only improve the results in the smallest data clips a little more.
If only a little more troubleless “Firlefanz” has ever been stored on the plate, 1-2 runs can already be sufficient. I may see more runs at most if highly sensitive data for online banking, professional home office with company / or personal data, etc. was stored.
If you want to overwrite the entire volume (the entire storage capacity of the drive), you should have the relevant drive for the “Cipher” command. best de- / and repartition, and then re-examine. (in particular, if there were several volumes / partitions on the drive beforehand).
This would have to be implemented under Windows via the “data carrier management”.
And then really nobody can recover the data?
