How many concerts have you been to and who have you been to?
How many concerts have you been to and with which artists?
Who have you seen live more often?
Who totally blew you away live and who not so much?

Hey, I want to buy Bonez MC tickets but I don't know if I can get in at 15 without a parent. Does anyone know if I can go to the concert alone or something?

When will Jennie from Blackpink release her solo album 'Ruby'? I'm currently on project days and don't have internet to watch the album teaser
I think every kpop fan knows the app "jyp bubble." I recently signed up and wanted to ask if you can post with your bias? Do real idols post there? And how should you behave? For example, what are you allowed to write? 😅 Thanks in advance to everyone who answers me 😀
Sometimes, when I hear new songs for the first time, I find myself imagining how the song continues, and then it actually continues like that or something similar. I suspect it has something to do with the fact that they're songs that rhyme. Is that true?
Hello, how difficult or easy do you rate this piano piece? Are there similar pieces of a similar difficulty level? (Vélocité, Burgmüller) Thank you in advance!
Hey Dortmunder1986,
I've been to two concerts before.
The first was in June on a Dua Lipa concert and it was amazing!!! 😍
I could stand far ahead, film everything and could just watch them live
I also noticed that I have never applauded for someone so honestly 😂
The only stupid thing about the concert was the end because I was really sad that it was over. I just saw how she went off stage and everyone said it was over now. It wasn't so nice, it was very unexpected. But better unexpected than if you know that the last song is coming ^ ^^
That was really a perfect first concert for me, actually it couldn't have run better 🙃
BUT then I was still at the Taylor Swift concert! That was in Hamburg in July N1. That was so great!! 🤩
I've been on Era's tour for a long time, and I've been totally determined that I don't have tickets and don't go. But once again I could get tickets at Fansale fortunately ^^
At the concert I also found the traditions of the Swifties great, for example the friendship bracelets, the betty wave and the light bracelets. Then you almost got a light show actually 😅
I just didn't like the forehead.
Otherwise, the show was mega and it's also so big that Taylor Swift does the whole thing several times a week! product️
So yes, these were my two concerts, all this year 😊
Greetings <3
I really like Paramore haha, and it’s really big enough to see them live. is already a very big band
Oh, right, a big band with 20 million horns, I didn’t know that.
But Taylor, for example, had Sabrina Carpenter as a forerunner, which I would have liked to see live.
Yes Espresso 😍
yes just now please please please and espresso
I was already at some concerts 😅.
Among them:
Ritchie Blackmore (with Blackmore’s Night), Jethro Tull, Ufo, Gregor Meyle, Silbermond, Max Giesinger, Johannes Oerding, Adel Tawil, 2x Revolverheld, Leslie Clio, Rea Garvey, Soriria (former singer with ice flower), Amy Macdonald, LP
Amy Macdonald (tolle voice), Elton John (exception artist), Udo Lindenberg (MEGA show), Herbert Grönemeyer (super mood in the audience and played over 3 hours) Roger Waters (total stimulus flooding 😅) and Peter Maffay (also TOP performance and band).
My expectations were clearly exceeded by the princes last year and Guildo Horn this year. They also make the right mood and deliver a great show from 👍🏻.
Helene Fischer has delivered a good acrobatics show and who I can recommend is Birdy. A great person and like an angel 😊.
I also liked Max Raabe and his palace orchestra.
At the bottom of the line were all concerts TOP and I would go back to most performers!
I have a whole stack of tickets. Always collected them. You can be like that to the 100, but you don’t want to count.
I’ve already seen Depeche Mode, Evanescence and a few smaller bands.
Very great were Depeche Mode on Schalke. The atmosphere was gigantic and the fans were really good. Fans of all generations were on site.” It’s nice to see.
Evanescence was also great. But only because of the music. The communication between band and fans didn’t work so well. Still, I was glad to have been there. I’d like to see the band again and again.
I saw pink last year at the Olympic Stadium. The show is unique. All the others can pack in. The atmosphere was also great and she just has great songs.
I’ve seen Dua Lipa when she was still relatively unknown. It was in a small shed in Cologne. It was narrow and stubborn, but I really like that rather than concerts in big arsenic. It has a completely different flair. You’re really close to the artist. It was definitely nice. I’d like to see you again.
Mesh is a little rock band. I’ve seen them several times. I like their music and they always play in small halls.
I saw Lindsey Stirling 2x and she’s doing a great show. Unbelievable as she dances while playing violin. I’m not a fan of such music, but it sounds really good at her and she’s a friendly person.
This was just a small selection of the well-known artists. Have seen many little bands. However, giving feedback would blow the frame.
Well, really bad shows wouldn’t seem to me. Couldn’t call anyone where I can say I regret it.
The 100 tickets are a lot. I like Evanescence very well, Dua Lipa too, I have 2 CDs from her.
Lindsey Stirling < me wonders that you are not known! She's great!
So I was already at some concerts, but the ones with my parents were more in the smaller frame. Otherwise I was with:
I found The Weeknd best. You can also see my videos. I'm escalated. I wanted more concerts, but unfortunately it didn't turn out.
Today I wanted to go to Olympiaberg for Coldplay, but it's raining. My girlfriend was even at the right concert yesterday because she spontaneously got a ticket. That could have told me earlier 🙄
But of course ——-> there was everything there over the years from BAP, Joana Emetz and Haindling to Manfred Mann’s Earth Band, Al Stewart, Udo Lindenberg, Angelika Milster, Bernhard Brink and various rock acts to the Flippers (here I was with my Opa^) and an open air from Andrea Berg. Various rather regional festivals with Benefiz-Charakter and “rockier” to punky music selection, the ZDF TV garden, the SWR 1 Hitparade in Stuttgart and similar events can be expected 🙂
All was good or disappointed I was never, quite underground was a well-known, over 80 years old (!) percussion singer who had a handful of hits in the 70s and then had only negative headlines because of the marriage crisis, bankruptcy and anything else, in the middle of the province in a backyard-like, at least more helpfully acting “Arena” had his hits back through … At the beginning of the show, he was very “adjusted” (precisely formulated) and must have actually been: I heard afterwards that he was accommodated in the hotel on site, after check-in in the afternoon the minibar had already emptied and slept his actual appearance, so that the artist had to bridge an hour program in front of him – some nobody I have forgotten. After all, I hadn’t paid any entry since I won the tickets at the local newspaper.
Absolutely remarkable was especially Al Stewart: He just sat with a guitar on a podium in the middle of the listeners and played unplugged. He has also super improvised and played a lot of guitar – often one only noticed in the verses what he tuned and it sounded completely new, even though one knew all songs since ancient times, e.g. “On The Border”.

Joana Emetz was also great, that was a concert together with the well-known guitarist Adax Dörsam – an absolute pleasure, the lyrics like “The Rubber Tree of Ursula” seemed totally good – and you might notice that I am passionate about songmakers.

I was on hundreds of concerts and I can’t count them all by far.
I have seen David Bowie (2 x), Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Screamin ‘ Jay Hawkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Metallica (4 x in any case), Motörhead (4 x in any case), Bob Dylan (the concert is among the worst …), The Mamas & The Papas, Manowar, Soundgarden, Audio At The Wall I was…
I also had a bit of luck and came to the guest list, was allowed to sniff backstage …. U.a. I came to a poster by Motörhead’s Snake Bite Love Tour, where Lemmy and his guys signed this poster and Lemmy wrote a personal dedication. Fand ick juut. Posters don’t hang for a long time, but they’re still being kept. 😃
Consider;
Michael Jackson 2x, Tina Turner, Kim Wilde, Blackpink Dreamcatcher 3x, Billlie, Tri.Be, Scandal, Band-Maid, Babymetal 3x, LOONA, MonstaX, Rolling Quartz, TWICE.
9 concerts 🤘🔥
The following artists:
I saw Rammstein four times.
(2022, 2023 and 2 times 2024) 🔥
I saw Metallica twice. (2024)
So far, all the concerts I’ve been on have knocked me out.
Rammstein is of course at the top of my favorites. The show, the fans and everything about it are simply legendary and unique.
🤘🤘🤘
I saw Rammstein at Rock in the park many years ago. They always do a mega show. At the time, I went mainly for you. Always pay!
Absolute
How many I would have to count on.
For example, I was Grave Digger, Iron Maiden, Hammerfall, Edguy, Gamma Ray, Helloween, Magnum, Status Quo, Black Sabbath, Rainbow, Saxon, Savatage, Dream Theater, The King, Garth Brooks, Uriah Heep, Lake, The Sweet, Sabaton, Astral Doors, Manowar, Santiano and some local bands.
I was more open to Magnum, Grave Digger, Edguy and Manowar.
I had a very special concert at Garth Brooks… but overall it was always horny.
Gruss
Dua Lipa and Taylor Swift. Both this year
with Taylor I was also in GE I would like to see you live
I was at 1,000 concerts and then I stopped counting – and that’s over 25 years ago! XD
I just wanted to write that I was on the “Westernhagen – Live” concert in Dortmund in 1986, because that fits your username … according to google the concert in Dortmund was only 1990 … < Mist! ^^+gg
I was still there and it was very good!
A selection, or Write Top10 list is almost impossible for me! Many artists, many concerts, over many years… If you’re young, you take a concert differently than when you’re older – or the experience from then, you can’t compare it with current experiences.
B.B. King (Grugahalle Essen, 2006) was a 10/10, Chris Whitley (2005) was a 10/10 < and beautiful that I could still meet him! He died a few days later - *rip* - but I still have contact with his daughter Trixie Whitley - also a musician.
I also met Johnny Winter (rip), Louisiana Red (rip), Chuck Berry (rip) and Co. and seen live …
No concert (!?), rather a “Festival”, … the “Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert for Aids Awareness” in London 1992 < < << absolute highlight!
With: The remaining Queen members, David Bowie, Metallica, George Michael, Elton John, Gun’s’Roses, People of The Who and Black Sabbath, Bob Geldof and Co.
I was also on tour with “Take That” and later with Robbie Williams, with the “Backstreet Boys”, but also with Sir Paul McCartney < great!
Also saw David Hasselhoff live on the “Freedom Tour” and “Limbo Dance Tour”. Yeah! From the “Knight Rider” I was a kid fan. Sometimes hit him… < likes him personally very much! :)
…
In the “New Time” and most (!) concerts – “LaBrassBanda”. I’ve known the guys since the beginning and we’ve had a lot of fun together. Whether in Regensburg, Munich, Vienna, Passau, Linz … < seen several times in the last 10 years! Certainly over 100 concerts from the band already visited - and video shoots, etc.
The artist Fredl Fesl (♥) is unfortunately, unfortunately, recently deceased *rip … I was on the funeral in the small circle. *seufz/weh_ suits < Mochte Him!
So: The list is very, very long! Also write a book about it… since I’m on my way to the music scene, I have a lot of stories to tell!
Yeah, it has something to work in the scene. As an event engineer, I also met some people. Most are people like you and I – only very well known and revitalized.
Artists are people – have a different profession! Do I want to trade and be so familiar? No! < often get the "smoothing" with and DAS would be nix for me! *lach ... I'm already going to the many trips on the cookies!
But it’s like that: there are people! (< even if others talk about "music gods") ... There are well-known artists with whom I have understood right now and with some I am also friends - and then there are artists where I say: "Arg! No desire to meet the guys again!"
In principle like “neighbours” … < some people like, others not! ^^+gg
Is it (almost) completely normal… 😄
Behind the scenes sometimes a completely different show
I would have beaten up with Eric Clapton, too, things that nobody believes! XD
“Arg! Don’t want to meet the guy again!“
I’ve never seen Herbert Knebel again. On stage great, but as Uwe Lyko an arrogant fatzke. Can’t even say “good day” when catering together and sits at the back table with his troop.
And with a technical problem, his chandelier said: “We decide when the Master comes.” – All right…
Hello,
I also have around the 100 concerts behind me to count now just the festival where I have been going regularly for 6 years.
most of them were metal, punk and oi.
among others: Kanonenfieber, Venom Inc, Parasite Inc, Dubway To Sally, Knorkator, JBO, Gutalax, Milking The Goatmachine, Knife, Crystal Viper, Clitcommander, Loikaemie, Non Est Deus, Ost+Front, Toxpack, Berliner Weisse, Krawallbrüder, Zaunkraahl, Lordi, Asinhell
Santiano, it’s been a long time, only seats and pensioners. but also the location
Cyber gene (tj_beastboy, dizzy, thani, wavvyboi, mokuba, john on a mission) war badly horned. I would like to experience it again, my first time moshen, the mood was bomb, a fav memory for me!
Dortmund 1986: Depeche Mode – “Black Celebration” tour
My first of several DM concerts until 1998. I even took this concert with my expensive AIWA-Walkman. But the quality is bad. The same evening Bollock Brothers the Memphis.
OMD I have seen several times (1983, 1984, 2007, 2018), Anne Clark, Psychology, The Neon Judgement, Front 242, Invisible Limits, Kurtis Blow. In addition, the NDW Nights Nena, Mark, Spider Murphy Gang etc. Westfalenhalle.
Front 242 (1985) LOGO Bochum), Neon Judgement (1986) Orpheum DOand Days of Sorrow (1986) Memphis DO) I also have on tape.
And as an event engineer, I have a concert of Groove cut with built and experienced from the off. Before the concert I had to repair their dry ice machines from the 1970s for days, because things were already dead.
Concerts not directly. Rather at festivals, with several artists. That’s what I got.
Rock im Park, Nature One, Wacken, Summerbreeze, Klangthetapie, SMS, Tomorrowland, Defqon1, Deichbrand, Chiemsee Reagge, Splash!, Mayday, Syndicate, Toxicator, Spectrum,… 🙂 Definitely forget some more.
I was already on 3 Rammstein concerts, Powerwolf, Nanowar of Steel and Beast in Black.
To do this, dozens of performances of smaller and partly local bands, but I can no longer remember them.
Jiluka, Kamijo, dir en grey, sleeping w sirens, Don broco, Lost Society, The Rasmus, Paramore, Icon For Hire, Evanescence, Thirty Seconds To Mars, p1harmony, Xdinary Heroes, music Bank Antwerp, onlyoneof, the rose, k indie festival
My next is Madman’s Esprit
My favorite concert was Sleeping W Sirens, Jiluka, Xdinary Heroes and Kamijo
Tina Turner, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Udo Lindenberg, Hermann Brood, James Brown, Hot Chocolate, Dave Dee, Desmond Dekker, Sting, David Bowie, Willy DeVille, Equals, Police, Jack Bruce, Roxy Music, Dire Straits, Barcley James Harvest, Talking Heads, Mike Oldfield, Joe Cocker, Klaus Doldinger, Link
2 concerts in the Beer King of Julian Sommer
1 concert by mickie Krause
So I’ve been on instrumental performances in Philharmonic, but that’s probably not meant.
In any case:
Not at all. Everyone I want to see is dead or not on the way.
