How long pacifiers?
I'd be interested to know how long your children had their pacifiers, and if so, why?

What can you do if younger children beat up a child with ME/CFS who is older and stronger than the perpetrators but cannot defend himself because of exhaustion?
How long do you think a child should sleep in the same bed as their parents? Do you think it's harmful for a child to sleep with their parents for too long instead of in their own bed?
Hello And why? What do you hope to achieve with it? The video can be ignored, but perhaps someone would like some music while thinking/writing. (The question just reminded me of the piece.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzv1EI5gDnE LG
My mom does most of it on her own, my dad less so, and my dad is always on vacation, so my mom does it all on her own. She doesn't have a problem with it. Question to the women (or men): Do you think it's stupid if you have to take care of your…
Good morning everyone, This morning, our 3-year-old (14.5 kg) unfortunately ate two pieces of Baumkuchen lace left over from last night. According to the packaging, these unfortunately contained 10% Irish Cream liqueur. He continues to behave normally. Should we be seriously concerned, or are there any consequences to be expected? Thank you!
There are different types of observation: participant/non-participant, overt/covert, structured/unstructured. Which types of observation are best when a child hits and bites other children?
My mother simply threw away my pacifier when I was 2.5 years old (you're too old for that now).
I always wanted a pacifier. When I was about 10, I plucked up the courage to go to a drugstore and buy one. I said it was for my little sister (whom I don't have). Back in the 60s, they still had round pacifiers in pink and blue. She gave me a pink pacifier. I used the pacifier then. My mother would clean in the evenings and I could suck on it while watching TV. At some point my mother found the pacifier and threw it in the trash without saying a word. When I took out the trash, I found it. I couldn't let go of the pacifier and I've used a pacifier on and off to this day.
At two and a half, she gave her 45 treasures to the Easter Bunny, who needed them for his babies ☺️. For such selflessness, she received a small 🎁.
My little one spit them all out in a big, high arc. So I just let it go. In fact, there's only one kid in the playgroup who wears a pacifier.
As a child, I used my pacifiers until I was about 3 years old. I was a complete fanatic and sometimes had three in my hand. 😅
Due to my traumatic experiences, I started sucking again in elementary school, and I still do it today. Either when I'm extremely stressed or when I can't get to sleep at night.
I don't have any children, but I had it for so long and that's why I had to wear braces for ages and still don't really have correctable defects in my jaw, i.e. overbite and too high palate
Well, one of my sons, who never had one (because it wasn't accepted), also had to wear braces because his teeth were completely crooked, etc.
My other son is 10, still has it, and his teeth are fine… weird sometimes
A pacifier can negatively impact tooth growth. But genetics are usually to blame. (Not enough space) The dentist pulled one of my canine teeth when I started school. The gap has shrunk over the years.
Well, I guess you can be lucky or unlucky. My orthodontist said it was most likely from using pacifiers and bottles for too long. As a result, my palate developed too high, and the things pulled my upper incisors forward.
Of course, teeth can also become crooked due to other factors, there are many reasons
In my case, for example, I didn't use a pacifier before (although I'm using them again now), and I needed braces for five years. I really think it depends partly on other factors.
I still have a pacifier for sleeping and also during the day to relax because it helps me so much.
I think I used a pacifier until I was 2.5. I've been using a pacifier again for the past two years (an ABDL pacifier from Rearz), and I've been sleeping better than ever since.
Both my children refused.
Wasn't a problem at all.
As a child I had my pacifier until I was 3 years old. When I was 16 I bought another one out of curiosity and what can I say, now I am 32 years old and I can no longer sleep without a pacifier.
Wir mussten den Schnuller gegen ein Dreirad tauschen…ein guter Deal =;-)
I am the child
