How long is too long to stretch?

Hello, I want to learn the splits and am wondering if it would be counterproductive or unnecessary to stretch for 1-2 hours a day in order to reach my goal faster… Ie: is there an upper limit to stretching time?

You need the right system, otherwise it can even become dangerous.

So to prepare you should stretch 10 minutes jogging and then start with the exercises
