But there are also enough people who keep chickens as pets and don’t think about eating. The question is funny, but that’s all about the environment. Moisture, living in the earth, etc. In a dry area there are also little earth living beings, which contribute to the decomposition of the animal, so it takes longer than in a humid area where many living beings are waiting to be decomposed. Of course, other animals that do not live in the earth are important for decomposition, but the living beings in the earth make up most of them.

Depends on many things. Climate, weather, season etc. In nature, it is unlikely to be devastated, but to a large extent eaten by any other animals. This is also with a reason why you find as good as never larger dead animals in the forest.

We “shake” our chickens at the dung pile. If they’re only a little torn, they’re gone after a few days. The crap works pretty hard.
