How long does it take to transfer data to the new phone?

Hey,

I currently have an iPhone 11 with 64 GB (I've probably used up about 63) and am switching to an iPhone 15 with 128 GB tomorrow.

I've done some research and would like to use the "transfer from another iPhone" method so that wallpapers, etc. can also be transferred.

Now I have read that this process took some people 9 hours and for others 10 minutes.

My question would be how long would it take with my storage so I can prepare for it.

It’s hard to say, but I think you can expect 15-30 minutes.

As far as I know, the data transmission also runs over the Internet (WLAN). Do you have good internet at home?

With me, the internet is catastrophic and the data transmission via quick start has not taken me for more than 30 minutes.

I did this with two MacBooks last. It took 1.5h for 400GB.

So you should go faster.
