Different and also dependent on what kind of orthosis is involved and whether the MD is switched on and whether it is directly approved or just objection, complaint etc.

In my orthosis, for example, the MD was switched on and after about 3 months I had a rejection. With contradiction and co after almost 1.5 years then the approval.

I’m not with the AOK, but it doesn’t matter.

The basis is found here: § 18 SGB IX

Expert = e.g. MD

In general, therefore, within 2 months, when using MD etc or in the case of missing documents, but possibly correspondingly longer.

In the past, there were shorter deadlines (most of which are still found). They are no longer valid.
