Why is "ayudar a alguien" replaced here with "complemento directo" and "complemento indirecto"? This can't even be attributed to regional preferences (leÃsmo/loÃsmo/laÃsmo), so what's the difference? In such cases, can we simply decide arbitrarily which one to use?
