The 3 parts of the MPU

– medical examination

– Performance and reaction test

– psychological assessment

has already described very well.

There are no “standard questions” or “standard responses” with an MPU that you can learn by heart, but some tips and no-go’s:

1. Why are you here?

The test person knows his misconduct (date, date) and doesn’t care about anything (“only a beer” or “something too fast” -> failed)

Two. The misconduct was worked up

Why did this misconduct arise? What is the story behind it? What inner and outer motives are behind it?

3. The behavior has been changed, the change has been practiced, there are evasive strategies and the change in behaviour is permanent

The test subject has changed to controlled drinking, leads a drinking diary with pre-planning, can choose alternative drinks on social events, etc.

However, every test subject must develop these answers for himself!

I think the most important part is that you can keep 5 minutes monologue about the events before and during your fate day. There are plus points when you can call times and places.

Of course, it’s important that you’re completely gone.

All of this is of little use if you do not meet the requirements. With 3.5 promille, you don’t need to tell the 5 reviewer that Alk suddenly anekelt and you just stopped. That’s what she wants to see.

The medical-psychological examination usually consists of four parts. The first three parts are variable and can be used in different sequences. In general, it is possible to specify a tendency over the course and a temporal arrangement. The first three parts are about 30 minutes. While the psychological conversation comes to about 60 minutes.

Contents:

  1. Forms (approx. 30 minutes):
  2. In the first part of the examination procedure, fill forms related to your person and the occasion of the MPU.
  3. Medical examination (approx. 30 minutes):
  4. In the medical examination, general health studies and specific studies are carried out in your case.
  5. Computer-controlled performance, reaction and stress test (about 30 minutes):
  6. The computer-controlled test, checks your performance, responsiveness and stress resistance.
  7. Psychological conversation (about 60 minutes):
  8. The psychological conversation clarifies your personal development with general and case-related questions. A special focus is placed on traffic susceptibility and the change in behaviour.
  9. Your statements will be logged and you will have the opportunity to read the protocol. To add any changes, such as misunderstandings or additions.

You see, only the MPU can be approx. Take 2.5 hours when it runs smoothly. In addition, the arrival and departure to the assessment centre, waiting times between the individual subareas as well as general delays that can arise.

It is advisable to take free all day, so avoid additional stress.
