I'd like to start riding again and am looking for a good riding school. There are a few near me; I live in East Frisia.
It would be nice if the farm could be reached by public transport, but if not, that's not a problem.
How far would you personally go and what would be your pain threshold?

Hello, I just entered a regional train ticket in Bavaria on Bahn.de. From Lohr to Karlstadt (Main). Now we're shown the Bayernticket for €29 as the cheapest option. We're vacationing and would like to take a one-time trip (19 minutes, 3 stops). What's the mistake? Are there still regular-priced single tickets? Thanks and best regards
Hello, I'm a foster partner with a 33-year-old German riding pony mare. Unfortunately, she has damaged vision in both hind legs and isn't allowed to trot. I'm wondering what to teach her, which might be difficult given her age and the damaged vision. Can you help me?
Before I had my horses, I always rode for about 25-30 minutes. Personally, I wouldn't really like to ride any longer, simply because it's an extra hour, especially in the winter. This only applies to regular lessons.
Currently, my trainer teaches at the farm where my horses are kept. For show jumping training or to ride with other trainers, I drive an average of one to one and a half hours. For clinics, we sometimes drive 700 km.
Ca 20 Minuten je Strecke. Bei außergewöhnlich guter Reitschule evtl auch 30 Minuten.
Ich fahre für Reitseminare teilweise übers Wochenende 600km weit weg XD
Für regelmäßigen Unterricht kommt jmd zu mir und meinem Pferd, bevor ich ein eigenes Pferd hatte, war ich ca. 35-40 Min für guten Unterricht mit dem Auto unterwegs.
