How does the moonwalk work?!?

in the ,michael jackson 1958-2009 star ediion is a moonwalk lead in but I also have such a picture of internet, hir you can see even without video the moonwalk I have also learned so I would climb up to practice with socks and later to shoe with wise or bright soles so brain I have copied the lead for you:
The Moonwalk is a dance step that the recently deceased – also known as King of Pop – made Michael Jackson famous. This article deals with the Moonwalk and how to learn it. To learn the Moonwalk, some preparations are needed.
So you should have a smooth floor (ideally parquet) and you should wear shoes that are not non-slip, that is, they should slip. Ideally, the shoes are hard, that is, they cannot be bent – looks better. Another condition is then still comfortable clothes. Then it can start.

Take a comfortable stand position and go to the position to show the picture 1. The right foot is flat on the ground, the left foot behind on the toe tip.

Then the first real movement – pull the right foot (the entire foot sole must remain on the ground) back. They are then in position as in Figure 2.

Finally, the position of the feet is changed, i.e. the right foot stands on the toe tip, the left foot comes to the ground (Fig. 3) – then it goes further as described in FIG. 1, only with the reverse foot position.

This will look pretty wooden at the beginning. The secret is to make the Moonwalk as liquid as possible so that it looks really good. It also looks better if the distance between the feet is somewhat larger than on picture 1. This, however, makes it difficult to practice the movement. But try it out!

The better the Moonwalk looks, the more difficult it is to keep the balance and execute the movement properly. Exercise makes the Master!
