How does Steam remote play work?
I wanted to play Cat Quest 2 with a friend but you can only play it online with Steam Remote Play and I have no idea how to do that

Start the game, then select friends from your list, right-click them and invite them to the game session. You don't need a copy of the game as long as they play with you.
the steam remote is just like the google stadia. you have a controller and can play games that run over a pc that are somewhere on the world. the whole thing goes over the television or something.
