How does it all work out on the weekend?

I'm going on vacation alone for the first time this weekend. I'll finally be able to unwind for three and a half weeks. Now I'm wondering how things will work at the airport. I have two suitcases and one piece of hand luggage with me. I'll park my car in the parking garage.

  1. Look what car park costs. The prices are different and are appreciable for 3.5 weeks.
  2. Car park. Don't leave anything in the car obvious.
  3. Save (rew) in which car park and on which level the car stands
  4. Tow suitcases into the departure hall, possibly organize a trunk car
  5. On the large panel, see which switch your flight is being processed, alternatively ask at the info
  6. Time to go to the switch, put on, give up suitcases, pick up boarding pass
  7. Questions about which gate the flight goes and when you need to be there
  8. A little walking around in the airport and wondering about the tasty prices for coffee etc.
  9. Being at the gate
  10. Boarding pass show, board, board, fly

Right, after 3 weeks of vacation you don't know anymore! 🙂

Plan enough time to do this for the first time! Then it's more stress-free.

Well, you park (hopefully in a more remote parking lot, where it is not so expensive), then go with your ticket and the suitcases to check your luggage and pay your fees if the suitcase is too heavy. Maybe you can only take a suitcase. Explore! Then you go through the security check to the gate and wait on your plane. Then you go to the plane with the boarding pass and escape – and if everything goes well, your suitcase is in the same plane:)

At the destination airport you get the suitcase from the band and go where you booked your holiday.

From the car you go to the departure terminal, then look at your travel papers there you will find the flight no. and the airline, then look for hints to the check-in, there you are looking for the airline and the flight no., then go to this check-in and get your boarding ticket there.

If you have them, you'll report back.
