How does GOG work?

I want to play the entire Witcher trilogy and wanted to buy a key for Steam to save some money. I want to start with the first game. But online, I only ever find "GOG.com" as a platform. Is it still available for Steam, or how does it work? On Steam, it costs €8, but with a key, it's only about €1. Thanks for the help!

Put GOG Galaxy down. You should get the first Witcher part for free, at least it was like that.

The second part costs just 3€ on GOG.

The Witcher 3 GOTY just costs 10€ on GOG.

I therefore advise from the keystores, rather buy on GOG, because you also have 30 days of right of return regardless of the season.

No, Steam is Steam and GOG is GOG. Just like Uplay Uplay, Battlenet Battlenet and Origin is. These are all independent gaming platforms. It’s not that there’s only Steam as a monopoly.

So if you want to have the games on Steam, you either need to find a Steam code or buy it directly on Steam. The parts are always reduced, I didn’t pay 10€ for part 1 and 2 together then.

No, it’s for the GOG platform, which also works super.
