How does DHL Claims work?
Hello,
I sold something, and the customer sent me photos showing that it arrived defective or broken. Well, I had to return the money (€135), and now I'm stuck with defective goods and my money is gone.
I have pictures from my ad when everything was still intact and for sale.
How does this whole claims process work at DHL?
I've already found the four-page protocol. Now I'm wondering how this all continues.
The recipient must use the complete package for the postal branch. A damage report is created and the convuls is subsequently sent to the competent department for assessment.
Subsequently, the sender gets the damage replaced, but is mostly rejected because of unpredictable packaging.
The whole thing can move a few weeks.
How could my case continue or end? Would I stay at the expense?
I can’t judge from a distance, but expect the mail to pay nix.
