How does caffeine affect hunger?

All the stimulants I know, like Ritalin, cocaine, amphetamines, and tobacco, make you feel less hungry because these substances release noradrenaline.

But what about caffeine? I consume caffeine daily, but I don't notice that it affects my hunger.

Caffeine has an influence on feeling hungry, but the effects are not clear.

  • Caffeine can negatively affect blood sugar levels and thus increase insulin levels in the body. If this falls off again as a result, the feeling of hunger is increasing – a vicious circle that leaves no diet to be successful.
  • Coffee as a slimmer – what’s up?
  • Caffeine is a stimulant that can boost metabolism and increase fat burning. This can initially reduce the saturation feeling and increase appetite.
  • However, caffeine can also increase the release of hormones such as adrenaline and cortisol. These stress hormones can in turn temporarily suppress appetite.

The body accelerates all metabolic processes when you drink coffee. You’re hungry faster. On the other hand, bitter substances act against hunger.
