And what exactly is a relative?

This is a minor. The auxiliary charge can connect two main sets to a main set with an auxiliary set.

This is a minor, the connects two main sets to one set.

In the past, the relative pronouns were also called References Forwords – made the thing clearer.

I leave the Spanish to a Spaniard.

A relative set is a secondary set which, like all NS, is subordinate to the main set, is dependent on the latter, i.e. cannot exist alone.

He is one of three groups of (German) NS:

  • relative-NS,
  • indirect interrogative (= question)-NS: I don’t know, whether that’s right.
  • Conjunctional-NS (temporal, modal, final, concessional, consecutive-NS and and…): When I came home yesterday (Temporal-NS), …

A relative-NS refers to IMMER to the preceding:

  • The GF expert, the latricore means, …
  • The mountain, I am standing,… (so with upstream preposition).

Sorry, no hablo espanol…

Lo que is a relative pronoun for actions, ideas or concepts, never for people or objects. It corresponds to the German what?.

What? we need now is more time. Lo que necesitamos ahora es más tiempo.

What? he said everything was lying. Lo que me dijo era pura mentira.

I lost my watch, what? I voted very sadly. Perdí mi reloj, que me dejó muy triste.
