How do you state your salary expectations in an application when you already know that it is tied to a salary?

Hello,

I am applying for a position where the advertisement already states "compensation according to the collective agreement of the chemical industry."

Normally I would state my annual salary including Christmas bonus etc. and make it as even a sum as possible

But is this also done for such collectively agreed positions? Or do I calculate the exact salary I would receive with the classification I'd like, even though that would be a strange, odd sum like (just as an example) €57,423.87?

Or do I simply enter my desired classification, i.e. do I not write any amount in the field, but simply, for example, "E9 according to the chemical industry tariff"?

Thanks in advance!

Why should the application already indicate its salary preferences if this is not explicitly required and the company is remunerated by a collective agreement?

If you are clearly above what is customary for this activity and your specific knowledge and experience, this would be an exclusion criterion.

The remuneration group is already set for one place. The level of experience is defined by the staffer, but is partially negotiable.

Funny if they’re bound anyway. Then I would see what pay group is the place and how many skills and experiences you already have. Then determine the stage.

OK very suspicious. Usually this is always written out clearly there. So I know.

Hello dear,

I’d keep thinking about it. It can also be reimbursed according to employers. In my case, my old employer was also the case. One can only theoretically in the future have the problem that increases in salary are melted from the AT content.

Best regards

AT Bonuses I mean, yes:-)

So you’re assigned to a tariff but get AT-Bonis on top.

You can do both.

Either group X stage Y (usually two data are relevant) or one calls an annual salary.

Even in the case of wages, there can be extra allowances if you negotiate them. Or one could try to be classified a little bit higher by the professional years, even if there are no allowances and the basic level itself is established.

So even if it were E9, E9 has a lot of gradations.

I would do the last or just don’t write anything about salary
