How do you set off a firework rocket?

Hello, for the first time, I didn't buy batteries, but this time I bought fireworks. What's the safest way to set them off? I saw someone do it in a beer bottle, but I'd still like some tips on how to do it safely and effectively.

Thank you

The best thing to do is simply fill a beer crate with empty bottles and stick the rockets in there. Please don't use single bottles, they'll tip over. So, don't stick them in the ground or anything else; they need to be able to fly out easily, complete with the stick.

Beer bottles are a bit too small and light. Many people therefore opt for champagne bottles. They have thick glass, a heavy bottom, and a long neck, making them quite suitable.

And place it so that the rocket can fly upwards unhindered, so not under trees or anything like that. And also place it so that nothing and no one around it can be hit if the bottle tips over during launch and the rocket can't fly straight up…

If so, then most likely with sand, which makes it even more stable.

I would use a plastic/cardboard tube.

If one doesn't do what it's supposed to, at least there's no glass shrapnel flying around on the ground.

Bottle is correct

take the one with the longest neck you can find and make sure it is heavy at the bottom so it stays upright
