How do you respond to subject-specific questions?

Hey,

I always make it to the shortlist, but I still fail interviews with very large companies because I often don't know the answers to specialist questions.

How can I improve?

For example, the last question was: "Suppose you are working in project controlling and receiving data, but it is incomplete. How do you proceed and how do you visualize it?"

Can anyone give me tips for the future as I want to work hard on myself.

Either the expectation is that you follow a specific project management standard and know the "right" answer that the standard provides.

Or that you have a practical experience of how to deal with typical challenges and draw from this experience.

Ask ChatGPT how he would deal with this problem. He probably doesn't have the only true answer, but delivers a few solutions to which one would have come with some reflection.

If the subject can be integrated in a half way: deal with the industry standards that exist. If you can refer to it with an answer, this is very impressive.
