How do you make acrylic matte again?
I painted a very thick layer of paint over the background of my painting, and when it dried, the area was shiny, and it bothers me. Is there any way to make it matte?

easy to grind with 450s diamond emery and overpainted.
For acrylic paints there are "Matt pastes" with which you can adjust the reduction of the gloss. Although this does not help here, it can also be stirred into clear lacquer that it is then dried with a matt surface.
In order to be able to use these pastes correctly, I recommend test series with slowly increasing addition of these pastes to paint or paint until the desired degree of matting is reached. Notes help to reproduce the result if too few colors have been prepared.
Thanks for the tip!
There are matt fixing agents, so you can try it, or do a bit of grinding if you don't have to.
Thank you. 😊
Seal with matte clear lacquer(acrylic), this should prevent the mirror.
Matter varnish over it, for example
