How do you know if an item on eBay has actually been shipped?
I bought an item on eBay three weeks ago and paid directly. The seller claimed to have shipped it five days later with insured shipping, and marked this on eBay. Now, the item has been marked "shipped" for two weeks, and it still hasn't arrived. I've bought things on eBay before, and delivery has never taken longer than a week. (I didn't get a tracking number, by the way.) The seller and I both live in Germany, so I don't really understand why the delivery is taking so long. It's normal for delivery to take a long time, especially if the item is coming from another country, but that's not the case here. The seller isn't responding to my messages either. Was I ripped off? Or is it normal for delivery to take so long? Thank you for any answers. π
In the new payment processing, you don’t pay to the seller anymore, but to eBay, and that’s where you’ve got each Buyer protection.
Click: New payment processing on eBay
If you do not receive an article, your seller is your first contact person.
If the seller does not steer, you will open a buyer protection case via eBay:
Click: eBay – Report problem with a seller
And if the seller does not Shipping and delivery proof then you get your money back from eBay.
Like eBay decides in such a case, no one knows the choices should be quite buyer-friendly.
However, they have none at all Right of law, i.e. the seller could act legally against you if you would get your money back due to a decision of eBay.
Oh yes, of course you should Yearly even when you opened the eBay account, otherwise the shot goes back.
Hello, I’m all year round and it was already when I created my account. I wrote to the seller again and asked for the tracking agent. If he doesn’t answer, I’ll report this to eBay. Thanks for your help and answer!
Sure.
And great success! π
Insured shipping always has a tracking number.
If you haven’t received any, the seller just didn’t forward it to you or the package was never sent off.
Since you didn’t get a number and the seller didn’t react, it’s likely that you were “zoked”.
There is the possibility to report on eBay and indicate that you have still not received the package.
Good morning.
I’d turn on Ebay. If you paid by PayPal, I would get the money back.
With kind regards π.
report the article at ebay as “not received”, then you will get your money back via the buyer protection.
as long as no real sending number is stored and linked, which can be checked on the side of the sender (three, hermens, etc.), this is deemed not to be sent.
a classic case of.
