How do you get money at Modrinth?

I recently started programming Minecraft plugins and publishing them on Modrinth. I saw earlier that you can earn money from it. How exactly does that work? Is it per download or per view?

But don't make that too big your hopes. I got a datapack on Modrinth with now 1277 downloads and 6361 pages visitors and just got credited $0.84. Of course, it's better than nothing.
