How do you expose with this transformer?

Hello! I have a quick question regarding a product that Germans use at home!

If anyone has a moment, please call me!

Or please just write in the comments!!

I found that the photo shows a transformer. Can it be used as an LED to illuminate the room? If so, how can it be done?

It is a transformer for a 12V rope system (12V halogen spots). Since the voltage is unregulated and the transformer supplies alternating current, it is not suitable for LEDs.

Most 12V LED bulbs are AC-capable.

Okay. Do they use only 1 half-wave and flicker accordingly?

No.

In them there is a rectifier and a small (something too small) Elko installed. Thus, the flickering is kept relatively low.

Some have more in it. Even coils I have already seen. Also correct small fixed voltage regulators could be found.

Of course, even for the LEDs the resistors are in.

This is a transformer for halogen lamps with 12V.

This is a special mount for the lamp, this lamp is broken, the rods are missing. You can’t put any other lamps in there.
