How do you benefit from affiliate links?

I signed up with a broker through an affiliate link. My question is, how does this benefit them? Do they profit from the number of trades? Do they profit from the profits they generate, or even from the losses? Will this put me at a disadvantage?

He only gets a small commission when you registered via his link.

Not necessarily

As a rule, he gets a commission for you to log in.

However, it may also be that the commission varies in the amount you have paid in. But it’s rarer.

It benefits that its trades get more reach and closes more trades. And he’s giving you a small part because you helped him.

What does a link: Redirect

Where forwards a (Affiliate-)Link: to a website of choice of owner

The affiliate link is there as Bait as it were; fewer/no people would register if there is no affiliate link.

So the owner that he gets MORE reach for a small investment benefits.

ughhh, if you have further questions, ask them some ChatBot like ChatGPT, I don’t want to answer any more

(btw answers give points and therefore I will also respond to questions with not 100% expertise, the few people you need to be annoyed you just have to buy)
