How do I use condoms correctly and what can I do about my fear of getting pregnant?

Hello,

I had a boyfriend for a while and our condom broke twice and I was afraid I was pregnant… (yes, I took the morning after pill)

Luckily nothing happened and my gynecologist prescribed me a contraceptive ring which I have been using for a few months now, but I would like to stop using it because I have severe side effects

Now I'm afraid that the condom will break again and I'll get pregnant because I'm only using condoms for now.

Do you have any tips for me??

It may be that the condoms were damaged or not fit properly, maybe too much friction was there and you were not moist enough.

Maybe the pill or the three month syringe would be something for you, the pill after that should only be taken in case of emergency and does not always work.

What do you mean you had a boyfriend? Did you break up? Is there anyone who could swing you right now? Did you tell your female doctor about the side effects? Maybe there’s an alternative you want to try again. I’ve never been torn a condom, what are you doing? fingernails too long so you might tear it off?
