How do I use Auto Tune?

I'm currently considering making music. I'm trying out a few different things, and I came across Auto Tune. I'm finding "plugins" everywhere online, so I'm not sure if I need a dedicated music program for that. If so, which free programs are best suited for that, since I just want to try it out and, to be honest, I don't have any software available to start with. (Auto Tune is also welcome.) Thanks in advance ^^

Yeah, yeah, want to use a car, but don’t know what the rest…

Get familiar with a music program first. FL Studio is a good starter program with a free version. You can do almost everything in it, but you can’t save and export your projects. The beginners version costs you just 90€.

There’s nothing without a reasonable microphone. If you don’t want to spend hundreds of € for audio equipment, you can buy a good USB microphone. Personally I recommend the RODE NT-USB. A super beginners microphone with many possibilities and super sound.

If you’re familiar with your equipment and voice, you can start using Auto tune plug-ins. Until then, however, it will take laaange.

If you don’t have money, you can leave it right away. I don’t want to demotivate you. However, with a 5€ microphone and no talent, you will not come far and soon bump into a wall.
