I have to create a portfolio with a theme and I want to say the following:
“It is also sponsored and recommended by many WRC teams…”
I am concerned about the word sponsors
Word highlights it in red and suggests "Sponsored." That sounds wrong to me. Can someone help me figure out the correct word for it?

Correct English would be imo:
A sponsor sponsors a team.
A team is sponsored by a sponsor.

Sponsors shouldn’t care about a word program set to German. ‘Sponsored’ sounds weird.
