Task 8

Root (5,42 + 32) = 6,177378

6,177378 * SIN(47,7) = 4,568981

x = 4,568981 * COS(35,4) = 3,724303
x is 3,7243 cm

Given:

  • Side lengths: a = 5.4 cm, b = 3.0 cm
  • Angle: γ = 96,9°

Solution with the cosine set:

The cosine set is:

x2 = a2 + b2 – 2 times a times b times cos(γ)

1. Use values:

x2 = 5,42 + 3,02 – 2 times 5,4 times 3,0 times cos(96,9°)

x2 = 29,16 + 9,00 – 32,4 times cos(96,9°)

Two. calculate cosine value:

cos(96,9°) ≅ -0,127

x2 = 29,16 + 9,00 – 32,4 times (-0,127)

x2 = 38,16 + 4,12

x2 = 42,28

3. Pull root:

x = root of 42,28

x ≅ 6.5 cm

Answer:

The searched route x isexact root of 42,28 cmorrounded approx. 6.5 cm.

only Pyth in triangle with 5.4 and 3.0

then in DrEck with 47.7 Sinus

then in the DrEck with x Cosinus

You have three rectangular triangles. I think of the SATZ DES PYTHAGORAS, and when I see some angle, I think SINus, COSinus &TANgens

Try it with it

You have triangles, and you have the phrase of Pythagoras.

But without angle functions, this is nothing 🙂

They were already included in the triangles. That when reading the task, one does not ask why the values are clearly stated…

The angles are specified, not the functions to be used 😉
