How do I solve the problem?
Do I have to unzip the files and paste them into C:\Windows\System32 or what should I do?

When I turned my laptop back on today after a car ride, all I could see was this. The laptop's audio was still working because I heard a system sound. There's a crack on the left edge of the screen, which I only noticed through the illuminated laptop screen, as it's hard to see on…
Hello, I've been having a lot of problems starting up my computer lately. One time the taskbar takes a while to load, so it loads slowly (it wasn't like this before). I also keep getting these errors (see image) which I don't know where they're coming from. Now and then my PC has also been…
Hello, I'm currently looking for a device that's a laptop, notebook, or Chromebook with a standard keyboard but can be folded into a tablet. Please only suggest very affordable ones 🙂 Many thanks in advance
Hello, I've had my new PC for a year now. I play a lot of eSports titles and I noticed that the max fps is 224 fps even though I have turned off all the limiters in the game and when I've checked all the games it's like that, whether it's CS2, Valorant or The…
Hello, I have an older PC game. I'd like to install it on Windows 11, but the setup file won't open, and even when I set it to compatibility on Windows 98, nothing works. Nothing is displayed in Task Manager either.
If VCRUNTIME140.dll is missing, first install the Visual C++ Redistributables by Microsoft (and just don’t download individual files from any website). After that, reinstall your software and then we will see on.
In no case should you manually add (or remove) any files in C:\Windows\System32 if you don’t exact Know what you’re doing.
Okay, didn’t do anything. This is what I downloaded and started https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe
What do you mean? Is it installed? And your application also reinstalled? You have a link to the application you want to install (can then test/review yourself). What OS – Windows 10 or Windows 11?
There are still 4 DLL files missing.
yes to me
The i2C-P15Pro2.16.exe program starts on my Windows 11 test system, but with unready, cryptic characters, which indicates a problem with the codepage/language environment.
win 11 new installed completely fresh 🙂 then here the dl link https://i2c12.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/i2C-P15Pro2.16.zip
yes clearly iinstalled downloaded and then the .exe started no reinstalled I have not yet.
Note: The software is being reworked, I contacted the programmer.
Usually, the files should be automatically written to the System32 folder when installing a program.
If that’s not the case, you’ll have to retrieve it manually. Yes, your guess is correct.
Anyway, I would never manually pack any dll’s into folders. Many websites offer bloatware or other malware.
If the dll’s missing, either missing a whole program or should be reinstalled.
If you want to hand-pick things or even have to do it, something is wrong.
That’s right, of course. If you have no idea of matter, you should leave your fingers and just re-enact the program. 😊👍
Often yes, not always. And with 40 years of experience with computers and 11 years of self-employment in the field of PC service, I know quite exactly what I’m talking about.
You should also leave your fingers when you have a clue. Pushing DLLs manually is always the wrong way with normal (not specially developed frying crane) software.
