With Paint.NET:

  • magic wand at ~25% tolerance, white areas select filling mode GLOBAL, with ENTF delete
  • Save image as PNG file

Since you couldn’t even show a reasonable screenshot here, I had to correct the perspective first and edit the pixelated result with a filter to get a clear black and white picture. Please learn how to make screenshots.

You have to paint.net edit and store with transparent background.

You can cut it like PIZZAMAN777 has already suggested, but the white background will remain inside. In my knowledge, there is no function in Word, which is why I would use a simple image processing program. Google simply remove “image background” – there are enough online tools that can also do this if you don’t want to download an image editing program;)

You need to edit the image before inserting so that the white pixels are transparent. For example with Photoshop. For example, In PNG format.

Right-click on the image, then you get the “Slice” function and can remove the superfluous image parts from your image.

Then I don’t understand you so much – if he’s just cut off, you don’t have a problem anymore.

Ah, wait, after reading GoodFrageXY13, I’m reviewing the statement: I don’t think there’s a tool in Word for cutting out…
