How do I open the sauce jar?
I got the Homann tomato cream sauce in a jar, and I can't seem to open it. The lid is kind of 'hooked' under the top. Is there a trick, or am I just too weak? 😀

For quick help, pry it off with a screwdriver, then air gets in and the glass is easy to open.
This device is very helpful and can be used for all screw caps.

Use the knife to gently "lift" the edge of the lid. It will make a "pop" sound, and then you can easily open it.
This is a standard twist off cap. Simply twist it open. When it pops, it's open.
Pointed object a hole in the lid and then it is easy to open

Turn it over and hit the bottom of the bottle firmly with your hand. Don't stand the bottle upright, of course, but hold it freehand.
Use the handle of a spoon to force air underneath. Then the vacuum seal will pop open.

Take a sharp knife and stab it into the lid.
The knife must be stable so that you cannot slip.
Then the lid can be opened very easily.
