the hypotenuse c is labeled on the left with q and on the right with p

(other than in the alphabet)

p+q = c = Hypotenuse (Last side below)

Left at the hypotenuse is point A and therefore opposite (slanted side right) the side a.

On the right of the hypotenuse, point B and therefore opposite (slanted side on the left) is page b.

Point C is located opposite the hypotenuse (at the right angle above).

p + q = c is correct.

But the label is left q , right p

The square above the hypotenuse has the same area as the sum of the catthomic squares… Set of Pythagoras.

If you take the root away and thereby square the un squared term, you will come very close to the well-known expression, a lot of success
